Kendrick Lamar Now Has An Official Salad -- And It Sounds Pretty Mouth-Watering

Healthy living.

We're already familiar with Kendrick Lamar's Reebok deal, and now he's again branching out beyond music. His next foray? Salad, of course.

During the entire month of May, a K. Dot-inspired salad -- named Beets Don't Kale My Vibe -- will be sold at all 29 Sweetgreen locations, according to a press release sent to MTV News. The salad chain, which has locations in New York, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, is launching the salad in celebration of the fact that Kendrick will be the headliner for their Sweetlife Festival, which takes place May 30 and 31. Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe will also be available during the two-day festival.

The salad itself -- whose name, of course, is a pun on the Compton rapper's 2012 single "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" -- sounds pretty damn good. According to the release, the salad "contains shredded local kale, roasted chicken, goat cheese, organic wild rice, and flash roasted beets, which are marinated in balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and a hint of honey."

Ten percent of every sale of the salad will go to FoodCorps, a charity that focuses on connecting kids with healthy food and educating them about the importance of nutrition.

Sweetgreen actually dropped a Beets Don't Kale My Vibe t-shirt back in 2013. And now they've got the snacks to match.
