If there's one thing the newest batch of "X-Men" movies are doing super right, it's meticulous decade-specific costuming. So when it was announced that the newest film, "X-Men: Apocalypse," would follow the original X-Men team coming to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, we were pretty pumped for some fantastic '80s fashion.
But nothing, NOTHING could prepare us for just how perfect these young mutants would look in real life. Seriously, check them out for yourself:
Twitter user @FrancescaY posted the photos to her account, saying that they were taken by her mother on set. Mrs. Francesca's Mom, will you accept Mother's Day gifts from literally the entire Internet? We feel we owe you something for this blessing you've bestowed on us.
In the photos we see Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, and Lana Condor as Jubilee, dressed in basically the most perfect outfits ever. Is Nightcrawler wearing a Michael Jackson Thriller jacket? And look at Jean Grey and Jubilee's HAIR. It's everything we ever wanted.
What do you think of the vintage look? Excited to see more jean jackets and ponytail scrunchies when the movie is released in 2016?
