Tyler, The Creator opts for the trippy side of the party on his latest song, “Yellow,” the bonus track of his new LP, Cherry Bomb.

On the Kali Uchis- assisted single, the Odd Future frontman tones it down and trades in his rap lines for touching melodies.

“Now when I first saw you, I could tell you was the one that I been searching for,” he sings. “I needed something that was like the sun. Now all my flowers grow, right now my life in bloom, baby.”

Compared to the more upbeat and hard-hitting “Deathcamp,” Tyler’s free offering is wispy and romantic.

Better yet is the extended instrumental at the tail end of the track.
