It was hard not to get choked up at last night's ACM Awards. Not only did Taylor Swift's mom (whom we recently found out is battling cancer) present the Milestone Award to her daughter with a heartfelt speech, but T Swift also officially said goodbye the country chapter of her music career forever.
She told the crowd, "To the country music community, when I told you that I had made a pop album and that I wanted to go explore other genres, you showed me who you are with the grace you accepted that with. I will never forget it." But as Taylor's music transformed over the years, it's clear her style evolved right along with her.
