The 1990s is, truly, a decade that keeps on giving – and we have the latest glorious hunk of before-they-were-famous video bounty to prove it (emphasis on "hunk").
Behold: a 26-year-old, greased-up, leopard-print undie-clad Jason Statham writhing to the tunes of a Scottish psychedelic electronic dance music band in this 1993 music video for The Shamen's "Comin' On." This is legit one of his first professional gigs, guys, and he is clearly giving it all he's got. And we are taking it. Oh yes, we are taking it.
There's so much to love, here. The chiseled abs, the hip swirling and thrusting, the combat boot-speedo combo, the mountaintop locale of his precisely choreographed perch, the fact that there are multiple versions of Jason Stathams working this at all times.
Oh, but that's not all – just one year later, Statham starred in an equally revealing (albeit metallically painted) fashion via Erasure's "Run to the Sun" video. No surprise: he became a French Connection model shortly after these appearances.
We know he's got a massive hit in "Furious 7," but here's where we deign to beg Jason, regardless, that he please, please consider a role in the next "Step Up" movie. Or, at the very least, reprise this scenario on an episode of "Lip Sync Battle."
