Taylor Swift's Record Store Day Purchase Is On Point

Or at the very least, on brand.

Yesterday (April 18) marked this year's eighth annual Record Store Day, when the masses descended upon their local mom and pop purveyors to pick up exclusive tangible musical goods – and Taylor Swift was not about to stand on the sidelines of the audiophile-luring fray.

The singer posted a selfie on Instagram, prominently featuring her Record Store Day purchase – and while she may've kicked it old school in medium, she kept it promotionally on point in tuneage.

Tay captioned the shot of her with a special vinyl release of her chart-crushing album 1989 simply, "Record Store Day:)." Really, though: who better to rep the LP? It's also strangely satisfying to contextually see the bottom half of her face reunite with the top, even for a fleeting moment.
