In case you want quantifiable proof of how successful and beloved Kendall Jenner is in the fashion industry, consider this: Karl Lagerfeld, the notorious head of Chanel, Fendi, and his own eponymous label, is one of her best friends. Like, actually.
The suited fashion overlord just tapped Kendall for yet another big bullet point she can add to her resume—starring in a campaign for Fendi. Add that to her stints as the ambassador of Estee Lauder, one of the leading ladies in Marc Jacobs' current campaign, joining Justin Bieber as the newest faces of Calvin Klein, and her growing list of magazine features and covers, and you'll see she's one of the most in-demand models in the business.
Fendi teased images of Kendall's next campaign on Instagram, where you can see her and Lily Donaldson paling around backstage in some very bold, Abominable Snowman-inspired boots you know her brother-in-law Kanye would approve of.
This is not the first time Kendall and Karl have teamed up—not by a long shot. Kendall's walked in the Chanel show multiple times, including that one time she went braless on the runway. She also starred in a campaign for his self-titled line and was photographed by him for Harper's Bazaar. They work together a lot, which, actually, makes total sense considering he has named her "the girl of the moment."
With all that in mind, we can't wait to see what this Fendi campaign looks like—hopefully it won't be long until we find out!
