Kendall Jenner is one of the biggest models in the world AND she's also on one of the most popular reality television shows, but rarely do you see those two worlds overlap.
And there's a reason for that -- because Kendall doesn't want them to. In an interview with GQ, where Kendall graces the cover and has a topless spread inside the magazine, she opened up on why "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" cameras are off-limits on the runway.
"I told them from the beginning, I was like, 'OK, love you guys, but we're not gonna do this. You're not gonna follow me to shows, you're not gonna be with me on this ride," she said after adding that modeling was always her dream career. "I didn't do it because I felt like I had to prove something. ... And I mean, what else would I be doing? I probably would have gone to school to get the degree to go to work, when work was already there."
But as for the moments where she does appear on "KUWTK," Kendall, who says she will "be fine" when its time to say goodbye to reality TV, is adamant that she's not playing a character and that everything you see that goes down with her family is real.
"It's all real, so when there's a storyline, it's all done after the fact that we've filmed, because that's obviously how it makes sense," she said. "Because that's just how it actually happened."
Understandably, one thing she did not want to discuss was her father Bruce Jenner's alleged transition.
"That's not about me, so we can move on," she said to the reporter who then brought to her attention a magazine cover with the headline, "Kendall & Kylie finally hear it from him as cameras roll!"
"All that is bulls--t," she said. "I don't even know what they're talking about, so I have no idea."
