Drake reps his hometown. Hard.
He often shouts out Toronto in his music; he's the Global Ambassador for the NBA's Toronto Raptors; he brings an annual concert, OVO Fest, to Toronto each summer; he has the city's famed CN Tower tattooed on his arm.
You may not always hear him say how much he loves Toronto, though -- at least not in those words. That's because he's usually referring to it by a nickname derived from its area code: "The 6." Not only is his upcoming album called Views From the 6, but he also has "416" tattooed on his ribs.
And he dropped references to "the 6" more than a few times on his recent If You're Reading This, It's Too Late. Like, way more than a few. From track titles -- there's "6 God," "6 Man" and "You & the 6" -- to lyrical references, there plenty of six-ing on the project.
Exactly how much? Luckily, someone put together a supercut on YouTube, so now you can just run through the 6 with your woes, or wherever you are, as you listen to Drake saying "six" over and over on a loop, like you've always wanted.
