Prom season has already begun, and this year we've learned that you're never too old to attend the big dance.
One teen, for example, took her 80-year old grandfather for the first time, and on Tuesday night, A$AP Ferg also attended his very first prom.
The A$AP Mob rapper, who grew up in New York, apparently never had the chance to attend his own school dance, but last night, he got to do it up even bigger than he would have back then, when he performed for a group of kids at Madison Square Garden as part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation's second annual prom.
"Whenever I have a opportunity to give back I do," he wrote on Instagram. "I made it to the prom that I missed growing up. Thanks to @gardenofdreamsfoundation. Thanks for the invite #gardenofdreamsprom."
From the videos he posted, we know that he performed two of his biggest hits, "Shabba" and "Work."
"Attended a prom tonight at #madisonsquaregarden it was a pleasure to be the surprise performer at these kids prom tonight," he added. I'm pretty sure it was a pleasure for the kids too, they seemed to be having the time of their lives.
