On a scale of one to ten, our excitement for Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" was about a seven... until Josh Gad (LeFou) showed us our first glimpse of the star-studded cast together. Now, our excitement is through the roof.
Gad posted the first cast photo to his Insta on Tuesday. "Can't wait for you to be our guest," he captioned the pic of himself with castmates Emma Watson (Belle), Luke Evans (Gaston), Dan Stevens (Beast) and Kevin Klein (Maurice).
We're not entirely sure what's going on with Stevens' face -- is that his "pensive" look? -- but we're 100 percent sure that this cast is certifiably adorable. Stop being so charming, Evans. We're supposed to hate you, remember?
Of course, there are a few faces missing. Sir Ian McKellen was recently cast as the Beast's loyal butler Cogsworth, joining Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as our favorite feather duster Plumette. We're still waiting on a casting announcement for the Beast's BFF Lumière, but given McKellen's involvement in the project, we're banking on Sir Patrick Stewart.
Your move, Bill Condon.
