This Baby Sloth Prank On Craiglist Is Pure Genius

Craigslist is thirsty for baby sloths, and these texts prove it.

The world may have just witnessed the greatest Craigslist prank of all time. A man was inundated with thousands of messages after, unbeknownst to him, his phone number was listed on a bogus Craigslist ad for the sale of a baby sloth.

The person(s) behind the prank listed the seller as "Liz," but the contact number actually belonged to a guy named Kameron, who has been tweeting about the flood of inquiries he's received about the nonexistent sloth sale. On April 8, just after the Craiglist post went live, Kameron -- clearly unaware that something devious was afoot -- tweeted about a random request he received about a baby sloth.

About an hour later, Kameron's phone showed 69 unread messages and his patience was crumbling.

Fast forward to Sunday (April 12), and the number of people who contacted Kameron regarding the baby sloth had grown to 5,000.

But it looks like Kam is taking all the unwanted attention in stride.

Who knew the Craigslist community was so thirsty for sloths?
