No, "Furious 7" wasn't nominated for any Golden Popcorns at this year's Movie Awards -- expect it to DOMinate next year, though -- but that didn't stop the record-breaking action flick from owning the night.
From Vin Diesel's surprise performance, to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's baller af entrance and Amy Schumer's opening "Furious 7" joke, the 2015 MTV Movie Awards were as fast and furious as they come. So grab a nice cold Corona, or a Belgian ale if you'd prefer, and let's reminisce over all of the "Fast" moments throughout the night.
Amy Schumer's "Furious 7" joke.
Schumer kicked off the night with a bevy of pop culture jokes, but no quip garnered quite a reaction like her "Furious 7" joke. It wasn't the dig at "Jupiter Ascending" that won the crowd over so much as the pure mention of the Vin Diesel-fronted film. The entire crowd erupted into applause, which felt fitting, TBH. Because when greatness is mentioned, you have to cheer.

Vin sang "See You Again" for his good friend Pablo.
It was undoubtedly the moment of the night. "The last time I stood on this stage I was with my little brother Pablo," Vin said, honoring his fallen co-star Paul Walker. He then belted out his rendition of "See You Again," by Wiz Khalifa, which is the emotionally gripping track that plays in the memorial video that closes out "Furious 7." There wasn't a dry eye in the house after that impromptu performance. We're pretty sure even Rocket Raccoon would have shed a tear.
Vin dedicated his impromptu performance to his son.
When MTV News caught up with Vin backstage at the Movie Awards, he told us he sang "See You Again" for his 4-year-old son, who's been "singing that song pretty intensely" since the film's release. Excuse us. We need a good, long cry now.

There's a moment in "Furious 7" where Dom says, "I don't got friends. I got family." And that's what Paul was to Vin. He was family. So the incredible success of "Furious 7" is reasonably bittersweet for Vin and the "Fast" family. "It's a beautiful thing," he told us. "It's bittersweet, of course, but the fact that the world embraced it and allowed it to be Paul's legacy is just a beautiful thing."

Remember when Dom emerged from the flames in the final scene of "Fast & Furious 6" like a badass mofo? Well, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made a similar entrance at the Movie Awards, where he presented the night's biggest prize, Movie of The Year. Woman, the cavalry is here.

Whatever Johnson does, he does it with conviction. As DSS agent Luke Hobbs in the "Fast & Furious" franchise, The Rock gets most of the memorable bits of dialogue. And the same went for the Movie Awards, where Johnson stole the show from Schumer in its final minutes. Given his insane, 4,000-calories-a-day diet, it's no wonder why The Rock chews up so much scenery.
