Rumor has it Eastwood is playing Steve Trevor, who just so happens to be Wonder Woman's main squeeze. Many have speculated that Eastwood's part in "Suicide Squad" will set him up for a substantial role in Wonder Woman's solo outing in 2017.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, so we went straight to the source. Speaking to MTV News during promotion for "The Longest Ride," Eastwood opened up about his mysterious part in "Suicide Squad" and dished on what it's like joining the DC Universe.
"This is my second time working with David Ayer, who is a fantastic director," he said. "I couldn't be more happy. Everyone is such a great talent on that flick, so I think it's going to be really great."
While Eastwood neither confirmed nor denied he's taking on the role of Steve Trevor to MTV News, he did say he'd be open for more films in the DC Universe. "I'd be open to doing any films with great directors and great scripts," he said.
And yes, in case you were wondering, he has seen Jared Leto in all of his Joker glory -- green hair and all.
