There comes a time after every breakup when you just naturally stop looking at your ex's Instagram and whatnot and you just start doing YOU. You know?

Well, we're going to go ahead and say it: Selena Gomez is there. She's living her life, rumored to be dating a super cute dude and if she wants to post a sultry bikini pic -- well, that's (as Britney would say) her prerogative.

What am I babbling about? Well, on Thursday Justin Bieber posted some pretty flirty stuff to social media: an Insta where he's getting super close with a puppy and a bikini-clad Kendall Jenner...

... and a Vine of him hula-hooping with Hailey Baldwin.

Around that same time, Selena hit up Twitter to post a pretty hot snap of her "backyard sessions" -- which apparently entail reenacting her role from "Spring Breakers."

Now, it would be pretty easy to say that Selena posting the above pic is somehow equivalent to shots fired, right? Your ex is cavorting with a new lady (or two) -- promptly make them remember what they're missing, right?

But, you know what? I don't think this is the case here. Aside from the fact that Selena may be dating Zedd (which makes us totally jealous), she's also, you know, got her own life and doesn't need a man to define her.

I mean, did you also notice that she posted a solo shot and not just couples' pics? Just more proof that Selena is living life without buying into that social media pettiness. Do it up, lady!
