In 2014, Hangout Festival didn't go so well for Robert DeLong, but the EDM star looks to make up for it all this year when he touches down in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

"Last year, I was booked for Hangout and none of my gear got there. The airlines lost my gear; it was a sad day," he told MTV News in the lead up to this year's big beach party.

It wasn't a totally wash, though. DeLong got just enough of a taste in 2014 to make his 2015 appearance that much more exciting. "I wish I could've played it, but it was great, going around, hanging out, watching Modest Mouse on the beach. There's nothing like it," he said.

This year, DeLong will play alongside the likes of Foo Fighters, Sam Smith, Paramore, Tove Lo, Joey Bada$$ and Lupe Fiasco (just to name a few) -- so you know he's going to bring his A-game.

"Hangout's amazing. It's on the beach, its beautiful, Alabama shores -- there's nothing bad about it," he said. "It was one of my favorite festivals."
