Meghan Trainor’s On-Screen Kiss With Charlie Puth Was ‘So Awkward’

And no, they are 'not dating.'

With a line like, "let's Marvin Gaye and get it on," it was pretty mandatory that Charlie Puth kiss his musical collaborator, Meghan Trainor, in the new video for his breakout single, "Marvin Gaye."

It also makes it pretty awkward if you're the only ones not kissing in a room of people who are doing just that.

In the clip, the newcomer takes the stage to bring his sweet sound and vocals to a high school dance. Once his sexy lyrics set the mood, the students just can't seem to keep their lips off each other.

Meghan gets in on the action as well, as the two swap verses and then swap some spit. It was the first time the "All About That Bass" singer had to pucker up in front of the camera... and Charlie's parents.

"There were like, 40 people there and his parents were in the green room, and so we had to make out a bunch of times," Meghan recently told us at a FullBeauty event in New York. "Everyone was cheering because I was so good at it, and we went back to the green room and I was like, 'What's up Mom and Dad?' So awkward."

And it looks like we may see more of these two together. No, not because they are dating (they are not, as Meghan pointed out to us), but because the duo may be touring together. "I think he's coming on tour with us," Meghan spilled.

Yup, you read that right! So if you're headed to the MTrain tour kicking off in July, get ready to pucker up.
