Kid Ink Does His Best To Resist Temptation In 'Be Real' Video

With some support from Dej Loaf.

Last month, MTV News joined Kid Ink on the set of his "Be Real" video out in Los Angeles, and he debuted the full clip on Tuesday (Mar. 31).

The dark, moody visual -- which gets pretty gory at some points -- includes a cameo from Detroit rapper Dej Loaf, who sings the hook, and was directed by Mike Ho.

“We have the scene with the ladies in these blood baths and they kinda represent temptation,” Ink explained while on set.

“One of DJ Mustard’s writers, he gave me the beat with this hook idea on it and she was singing some gritty lyrics and talking about some stuff that reach more to the streets and where I come from — more than a commercial, radio-friendly type basis."

"Be Real" is featured on his latest album, Full Speed, which dropped in February.
