Demi Lovato’s New Music Is So Good It Will Have You Making The ‘Stank Face’
I don't know about you, but I am beyond ready for some new Demi Lovato songs.
Last September she gave us the inside scoop that she was working on her follow-up to her 2013 album Demi, saying it was "really amazing" and that she couldn't "wait for people to hear it.”
But six months later, we Lovatics are still anxiously anticipating its arrival. STILL, based on Demi's latest tweet, I think this music will be well worth the wait.
A track that can make me jump, scream and "make the stank face" will instantly become my new favorite song, I can feel it.
Demi, who is currently competing in our MTV Musical March Madness, has been spending a lot of time in her "happy place" (the studio), and recently opened up about her new music saying that she hopes it sets her "apart from other artists."
"This album I really want to be authentic to who I am as an artist and find my way in the industry — set myself apart from other artists and just really finally showcase what I can do," she told Latina. "I’m working with people that I have dreamt of working with my entire career, so the fact that I’m able to do that, it’s really big. I’m experimenting with different sounds in the studio so it’s exciting!"
One of those people that Demi has always dreamt of working with is Kelly Clarkson. The "Heartbreak Song" singer recently sat down with us and promised that a collaboration between the two pop stars will happen one day, in fact, it almost already did.
"We almost got to work together, but I was pregnant and she had asked me to sing, I totally was down, but it just didn’t work out,” Kelly explained this week to MTV News. “She was touring, I was super pregnant and not feeling well and it didn’t work out this time, but it totally will. … I love her; she’s so sweet. Every time we see each other, she’s always like, ‘Kelly Clarkson, she’s so nice, and so awesome, we’re both Texans.’ ”
