We might be a month shy of the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards, but on tonight's "Battle of the Exes 2" finale, the "Challenge"'s resident Susan Lucci finally walked away with the grand prize. And considering the sharp mountain she and her partner had to climb to officially earn the trophy (not to mention the stampede of cows the couple had to sidle through en route), we'd say it was pretty well deserved.

But would you?

In the game's final mission, the three remaining couples, Jay and Jenna, Theresa and Leroy, and Jordan and Sarah, were tasked with jumping out of a helicopter, swimming to a waterfall's edge and kayaking a set distance down the Fjord River...and that was just the mission's introduction.

Reigning Power Couple Jordan and Sarah, who got the advantage of starting first, kept a steady lead through a word puzzle, a winding road race between tiny Scandinavian side streets and "Don't Flip Your Lid," a nauseating checkpoint that forced Team Red to down several pint glasses worth of coagulated fish oil. Still, they threw 'em down like protein shakes, and Leroy and Theresa followed suit. But snack time proved to be Jay and Jenna's undoing, and when they couldn't put down the round of local brews, they were eliminated on the spot, and the game was narrowed to two teams.

By nightfall, and after another puzzle, a picturesque bike ride and an emergency sh** in the brambles for Sarah, the remaining teams learned they still had a second day of competition ahead of them that included a climb up the towering Mount Slogan. Still, none of the four competitors felt any less inclined to carry on, even though they only had each other's body heat to use as warmth through the frigid night.

As soon as Day Two's horn sounded, and as was the case through most of the final mission, Sarah and Jordan found an early lead, and though Leroy was convinced he and Theresa had the legs to push past Team Red, the eleventh-hour team simply couldn't keep up. After a true test of guts and guile, Sarah and Jordan were crowned "Battle of the Exes 2" champions, and Sarah couldn't help but tear up, having finally tasted victory for the first time in eight tries.

"I feel so lucky to have been a part of so many amazing adventures," she gushed. "[And] I left with the grand prize. It doesn't get better than that!"
