Kanye West's Adidas Collection Will Be Sold At Barneys

All of that monologuing and studying paid off—Kanye West has officially infiltrated fashion, at least when it comes to department stores. Ye's inaugural collection for Adidas has just been purchased by luxury chain retailer Barneys New York. According to WWD, the collection will be presented in stores in a very ~Kanye~ way, too.

Ye, who oversaw every detail of the original presentation from the casting (quietly including sister-in-law Kylie Jenner) to the soundtrack to the pantyhose, will be working close with Barneys on the delivery of the line. “Kanye West is involved in every facet of the collection from its initial concept through to design to the way it is marketed," said senior director of Adidas Liad Krispin. "At this stage, it is too early to share how the collection will be fully presented at retail, but our discussions with him are ongoing and well under way.”

How exactly Barneys will market the collection is not yet known—“We’re trying to flesh the details out now,” said the executive vice president and general merchandise manager of men's for the store—but the department store has revealed that Yeezy Season 1 will be carried in all of their branches and online. They'll be ordering everything from the clothes to the accessories and shoes.

The steep prices will definitely fit in with the rest of Barneys offerings, but on the bright side, there will now be many more chances to make sure you can cop any of the merch—without having to stake out eBay.
