Watch The World's Cockiest Biker Do Stunts During A 100 MPH Police Chase

Showoff suspect eventually surrendered.

A man in California led cops on a high-speed motorcycle chase Wednesday evening that turned into a daredevil display. During the one-hour chase, the suspect hit speeds of 100 mph and ran several red lights, according to KTTV in L.A., and along the way he pulled off stunts like standing on his seat.

Apparently unfazed by the police in hot pursuit, or perhaps realizing the helicopter footage could serve as his audition tape, the suspect pulled off stunts including wheelies. In fact, he was so nonchalant that at one point he stopped to adjust his earbuds, and some news outlets are saying he took a mid-chase selfie.

According to NBC 4 of SoCal, the biker is 22-year-old Phillip Resendez, and he was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and not yielding to law enforcement.

Different footage of the incident shows the suspect surrendering without a struggle, and as he's being escorted to the police car, he tells reporters that he didn't endanger anybody, adding, "I love my family and my two baby girls and I'm sorry I disappointed them."
