Which Is The Coolest Car In ‘Fast and Furious?’ We Rank Our Favorites

It's really about family.

Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Connor, and the rest of the "Fast and Furious" family sure have gotten themselves in a lot of adventures over the years -- almost as many times as they've gotten into cars.

And sure, we might not know anything about horsepower or engine quality (that's a thing, right?), but we sure do love watching brightly colored cars race each other and then crash in awesome ways. Here are all the best vehicles that did just that throughout the "Fast and Furious" series:

  1. Ford F-150
    Universal

Featured In: "The Fast And The Furious"

Probably the only normal car in the entire franchise. Booo.

  2. Honda Civic Coupe
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast and the Furious"

Basically the car equivalent of black spy gear. Dom, Letty, and Leon use these to pull their elaborate truck heists. They're nothing special to look at of course -- but that's on purpose.

  3. Mitsubishi GTO
    Universal

Featured In: "2 Fast 2 Furious" (kinda)

Did you know there was a short film prequel to the second film called "Turbo-Charged?" In it, Brian O'Connor travels all over the country in this sweet red number until he ends up in Miami. It's a cool car, but let's be real -- it's just not the same without the rest of the family around.

  4. Mazda RX-8
    Universal

    Featured In: "Tokyo Drift"

Neela drifts this car all around Tokyo, and it's pretty rad. I had a pair of jeans with that exact color gradient when I was her age.

  5. Mitsubishi Eclipse GS
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious"

The car we first meet Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) in, which means it was probably funded by the LAPD for part of his undercover operation against Dom. Nobody likes a narc car, bro.

  6. Acura Integra
    Universal

Featured In: "The Fast and the Furious"

Mia (Jordanna Brewster) wasn't much of a racer in the first movie, but she did have a pretty cool car. Too bad we never got to see it in action, really.

  7. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII
    Universal

Featured in: "2 Fast 2 Furious"

Another narc car given to Brian O'Conner for his Miami sting operation (they really like Mitsubishis, huh), but that scene where he and Roman Pearce (Tyrese) scramble their tracking devices is pretty cool.

  8. Nissan Silvia S15
    Universal

    Featured in: "Tokyo Drift"

Sean completely totals this car, which was Han Seoul-Oh's (Sung Kang) favorite in an attempt to take on Tokyo's Drift King. Luckily he manages to fix it in time to race with Dom at the end of the movie.

  9. Dodge Challenger
    Universal

    Featured in: "Fast Five"

If you're going to race your undercover-enemy-turned-best-friend to settle a bet, better do it in style.

  10. Honda S2000
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious," "2 Fast 2 Furious"

Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) briefly drew this car in the first movie, but we REALLY loved Suki's (Devin Aoki) bright pink version in the second one. Seriously.

  11. Subaru Impreza WRX STi
    Universal

    Featured in: "Fast & Furious"

Dom (Vin Diesel) punches out the windshield of this one and steals it for Brian when he helpfully points out that he's owed a ten-second car. And good news! It's coming back for "Furious 7."

  12. Chevrolet Camaro, Yenko SYC
    Universal

Featured in: "2 Fast 2 Furious"

Remember when Brian O'Connor used this car to jump onto a moving BOAT to save Eva Mendes from a drug lord? Good times.

  13. 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
    Universal

    Featured in: "Tokyo Drift"

Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) learned how to drift up the DK's mountain in this gorgeous car.

  14. Buick Grand National
    Universal

    Featured in: "Fast & Furious"

By the time the fourth movie rolled around (puns!), Dom and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) had traded their Honda Civics for this sweet muscle car.

  15. Ford Mustang Fastback
    Universal

    Featured in: "Tokyo Drift"

The car that earns Sean the title of Drift King. Also, white stripes just make cars cooler and that's a fact. This one looks like a super badass skunk.

  16. Jensen Intercepter
    Universal

    Featured: "Fast & Furious 6"

Letty's amnesia was straight up ridiculous, but this car's matte finish sure isn't. Daaaaang.

  17. Nissan Fairlady Z
    Universal

Featured in: "Tokyo Drift," "Fast & Furious"

The car of the Drift King, Takashi (Brian Tee). Dude has good taste.

  18. Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder
    Universal

Featured In: "2 Fast 2 Furious"

Admit it, Tyrese's first car in the series was a thousand times cooler than Paul Walker's. It's PURPLE and a CONVERTIBLE. I will take twelve, please.

  19. 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
    Universal

    Featured in: "Tokyo Drift"

The best car ever to get you kicked out of your high school in Texas and shipped off to another country.

  20. Ford Escort Mk1
    Universal

Featured in: "Fast & Furious 6"

This car went up against a TANK. And WON. Plus, it's very stylish.

  21. The Flip Car
    Universal

Featured in: "Fast & Furious 6"

Custom made to flip over Dom and the gang. Extremely badass.

  22. Gurkah LAPV
    Universal

    Featured In: "Fast Five"

It's like it a tank and an SVU had an unholy baby. Or, it's The Rock in car form. Either one.

  23. Plymouth Roadrunner
    Universal

Featured in: "Tokyo Drift," "Fast Five," "Fast & Furious 6"

Dom says he got this car from Han back in the day during "Tokro Drift," but it also factors heavily into Letty's story of not-death and amnesia -- it's the car she crashed in "Fast & Furious."

  24. Mazda R7-X
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious," "2 Fast 2 Furious," and "Tokyo Drift"

Orange Julius drives a pretty near version of this car in "2 Fast," but so does Han in "Tokyo Drift" -- it's the car he dies in. We're gonna miss you from here on out, dude. Say hi to Gal Gadot for us.

  25. Nissan Skyline G-TR
    Universal

Featured in "Fast 5," and "Fast & Furious 6"

The updated version of Brian O'Connor's favorite wheels, which will be making a comeback in "Furious 7." Brian drives it in his race against Dom at the end of the fifth movie.

  26. Dodge Charger SRT8
    Universal

Featured in: "Fast Five" and "Fast & Furious 6"

Not as iconic as Dom's original Dodge Charger, but a pretty sweet upgrade nonetheless -- and one that's capable of dragging a giant vault around through the streets of Rio.

  27. Volkswagon Touran
    Universal

    Featured in: "Tokyo Drift"

I don't care that it only appears in one movie. I don't care that it never drifts or does anything cool, and Twinkie (Shad Moss) doesn't even drive it on screen for more than a few minutes. If you didn't cackle in glee the moment you realized what those dented decals were (HULK PUNCHES!!!), you are dead inside.

  28. Toyota Supra Mark IV
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious," "2 Fast 2 Furious," "Fast & Furious," and "Fast Five"

The car that Brian lets Dom get away in. Such a beautiful bro moment.

  29. Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious," "2 Fast 2 Furious," "Tokyo Drift", and "Fast & Furious"

Brian O'Connor's signature car. Paul Walker even owned the one he drove in 4, which was sold after he died. Rest in peace, bro. Hopefully someone's taking really good care of your awesome ride.

  30. Dodge Charger
    Universal

Featured in: "The Fast And The Furious," "Fast & Furious," and "Fast Five"

Not since the General Lee has a car of this make gripped the public's imagination so pervasively -- and it's coming back twice as hard in "Furious 7."
