My Left Foot

Daniel Day-Lewis, who is Irish, stars in this biopic based on the life of Irish writer and artist Christy Brown. (If you'd rather see the actor as a sadistic oil tycoon threatening to drink Paul Dano's milkshake, "There Will Be Blood" is on Netflix, too.)

Ella Enchanted

Although this movie is technically about a young lady who got a bad, unreturnable gift from her deranged fairy godmother, it's also a grand little tour of the Irish countryside where it was filmed. Just check out the, uh, scenery in that gif.

Before he was Hollywood's favorite Action Dad, Liam Neeson and his delightful Irish brogue starred in this haunted house movie based on the novel by Shirley Jackson.

The Secret of Kells

Irish lore abounds in this fun animated film with amazing Celtic style, about an abbey in a fairy forest under threat from Viking invaders.

Shrooms

Leprechaun
