You know that part of Nicki Minaj's "Feeling Myself" where Beyoncé sings "I stop the world/ World stop" and the beat cuts out? That's kinda what ~my body~ felt like when I found out who was opening for The Pinkprint Tour's U.S. leg.
On Monday (Mar. 16), the "Truffle Butter" rapper tweeted that Tinashe, Dej Loaf, Rae Sremmurd, and
rumored boyfriend Meek Mill would join her on the road once The Pinkprint Tour swings stateside. (It kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden tonight.) She also confirmed that the U.S. tour dates would be announced on Friday (Mar. 20), the same day tickets go on sale.
Nicki has collaborated with both Meek and Rae Sremmurd in the past, so hopefully this means that they'll bless concert-goers with live performances of "Buy A Heart," "No Flex Zone," and "Throw Sum Mo."
Although Nicki hasn't teamed up with either Tinashe or Dej, is it too much to hope that they'll surprise us with some kind of "Ladies Night" 2k15-level supergroup collaboration? After tonight's Pinkprint Tour reveal, I feel like anything's possible.
UPDATE! Nicki has shared the "first list" of Pinkprint Tour dates on Instagram, hinting that there will be more to follow.
