Scott Disick Reportedly Enters Rehab For ‘Issues Bigger Than' Him

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star wants to 'truly remedy this struggle.'

Scott Disick has reportedly checked himself into rehab.

Outlets including TMZ were reporting on Monday (March 16) that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star entered the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica to "remedy this struggle."

"I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," he said in a rather strangely worded statement. "While I have been unconvinced in the past of treatment and therapy methods, Rythmia's rehab approach puts my worries at ease. The fact that there is a money back guarantee that has never been called upon gives me even more confidence. I am looking forward to starting my therapy and Iboga treatment there."

According to the center's website, the treatment encourages "spiritual growth and psychological healing" through roots from the Iboga, which is a small tree that supposedly helps people battle addiction.

"Ibogaine treatment is done in a physician supervised medical setting to provide rapid detox and elimination of withdrawal symptoms for those suffering from opiate addiction and other serious addictions," the website states.

According to TMZ, Kourtney Kardashian's longtime boyfriend and father of the couple's three children made the decision to seek help after an "insane, tequila-fueled weekend" in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he hosted an event at the Harrah's hotel.

Scott has openly struggled with addiction through many seasons of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The reality star, who lost both of his parents in the span of three months, checked into rehab in 2014 to deal with his issues, only to leave the facility early.
