Amber Rose Is Planning Her Own Version Of SlutWalk

Amber Rose speaks up about feminism, equality and the dangerous of slut-shaming.

Amber Rose has never been afraid to speak her mind. Her actions this past month is testament to this, whether she's calling out Tyga's rumored relationship with an underage Kylie Jenner or clapping back at folks trying to shame her for her history as a stripper.

Amber's Twitter has been ground zero for many of her comments, so it comes as no surprise that it would also serve as the announcement for her next project. On Friday night, Amber began using the hashtag #AmberRoseSlutWalk to talk about her own version of the feminist protest movement.

Amber also encouraged her followers to google "slut walk" for people who want to be a part of the movement with her. The SlutWalk movement is an international series of protests which began in 2011 and aims to end rape culture and stop excuses for rape based on a woman's clothing or appearance.

Amber also retweeted positive fan reactions and responded to those who questioned her motivations.

None of this should come as too much of a surprise. Amber is an outspoken feminist, even including the term on her Twitter profile. She posted a photo from the 70s women's movement on her Instagram for International Women's Day.

And she recently called out haters who try (and fail) to slut shame her, claiming she feeds off of it.

If there's anyone who can ruffle our mainstream understandings of the feminist movement AND call out the entertainment industry's biased toward women, Amber is the right fit. We can't wait to see what she has next in store for us!
