Just when I thought this whole thing was over, Aaron Carter and Hilary Duff are resurfacing their lost teenage relationship.

Exactly a year ago, Carter took to Twitter to express how he wanted to get Duff back (they broke up in 2003 when they were 16).

But in a recent interview with Cosmo, the ex-Disney star said his tweets were getting "ridiculous," likening him to the relationship between on-again-off-again couple Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran.

“Him reaching out through social media? It’s ridiculous!” she told Cosmo. “But then people do it all the time, like Chris Brown and Karrueche? Come on, guys. Keep it between text messages.”

Following Hil's Cosmo spread, it seems like Carter is just ready to move on, sending a subtweet into cyberspace:

Was the tweet pointed at Hilary? I have to say, the timing is pretty convincing.

Later on Friday (Mar. 6), Aaron posted some more cryptic tweets, alluding to the fact that he's being mysterious on purpose. Hey, it's getting the media's attention, right? Blog that.
