This Shady Records Documentary Will Give You Serious Eminem Nostalgia

Em, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Royce da 5'9" and more got together to reflect on the label's history in 'Not Afraid.'

Shady Records celebrated their 15th anniversary late last year, with the release of the label compilation album, Shady XV, but the party isn't over yet.

Complex gathered many of the label's integral pieces -- Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Paul Rosenberg, Royce da 5'9" and Mr. Porter -- for the new documentary "Not Afraid," which clocks in at just over a half-an-hour and runs through the label's extensive and impressive history.

Things start off with Slim and Paul's first meeting, and later we get stories about how Fif came in the fold, what Em learned from Dre about production, the massive success of acts like D12 and Obie Trice, as well as the death of Proof and the label's ensuing down years, plus its comeback with Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and new Em music.

It's a walk down memory lane that will give you both a renewed and new appreciation for Eminem, the label he built and the artists he signed and worked with.
