Birthday parties on "The Hills" centered on clubs, cocktails and 2 a.m. screaming matches, but now that Whitney Port's twenties are officially in her rear-view mirror, she decided to ring in the big 3-0 with a liiiittle bit more restraint. Unsurprisingly, though, this wasn't at the expense of style.

The fashion designer, who's looking forward to a 2015 wedding, gracefully entered her thirties yesterday with a small, intimate dinner between family and friends, and the occasion looked like something out of a Real Simple cover shoot. Must be nice not to trip over days-old pizza boxes en route to the front door...

"WOW! What an incredible birthday. I've never felt more special" Whit posted with a photo of the design above. Her sister Paige, meanwhile, captured the invitees enjoying a delicious spread. "Party for Whittie's 30th!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY" she captioned the pic below.

And, in mounting evidence that Whit is a superior human being, she kicked the whole occasion off with a trip to spin class. Kindly excuse us as we recede into this linen closet and lock the door...
