James Bay's Rih-markably Faithful Rihanna Cover Is Missing One Thing

The singer performed 'FourFiveSeconds' in the BBC Radio 1 'Live Lounge.'

James Bay popped by BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" Tuesday (Mar. 3), and, as is tradition on the show, covered a song by another artist. James chose Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney's "FourFiveSeconds," and he laid down a pretty solid rendition.

But it was missing something.

No, I'm not criticizing his vocals, which are appropriately frazzled and explosive per the song's theme. And no, I'm not calling out his song choice, which I think was actually a pretty good fit for him as a performer.

I'm talking about the fact that Bay, who took home Critics' Choice at the 2015 Brit Awards, isn't wearing head-to-toe denim. Didn't he get Rih's memo? That's the look! That's the fashion tip!
