Kelly Clarkson Finally Found The Perfect Duet Partner

Don't you want me, baby? Um, yes, we do.

Kelly Clarkson was totally kidding when she complained that she couldn't find anyone to sing a duet with. But after her spot on "The Tonight Show" on Monday, she might want to think about laying down some bonus tracks with host Jimmy Fallon.

Clarkson came on to promote her just-released album, Piece by Piece, which, it should be noted, contains an amazing duet with John Legend on, yes, a Tokio Hotel ballad Kelly didn't even know she was covering.

"I was actually reading a piece last week that she was having trouble finding people to do a duet with her. I don't understand what they're talking about. I would love to do a duet with Kelly Clarkson!" the perpetually enthusiastic Fallon told his audience.

"Did someone say duet?" Clarkson responded as she waltzed out onto the set for the "History of Duets" segment. Then, doing her best lip lick and hair flip, Clarkson played Cher to Jimmy's Sonny Bono for a trip down memory lane with "I Got You Babe."

The dynamic duo ran through a medley of golden oldies, including some classics from Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Human League, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, Elton John and Kiki Dee, Pink and Nate Ruess and, of course, MC Skat Kat and Paula Abdul.
