Ludacris' 'Ludaversal' Has An Official Release Date

Mark your calendars.

It’s official: Ludacris’ ninth solo LP, Ludaversal, is coming your way on March 31.

The rapper/actor took to Instagram Monday (Mar. 2) to post the project’s cover art, which features his first car before he made it big, a 1993 Acura Legend, parked next to his private jet.

Boy, Luda has certainly come a long way.

“Okay Luda Nation, now what we have here is 29 days until Ludaversal album comes out,” he said on his Facebook page. “We been waiting years for this and I’m telling you it was worth the wait. You saw me just drop the album cover. That’s my ‘93 Acura Legend with my Hawker 700 private plane. This describes me to a T, I’m trying to tell you. It’s complex and it’s also very humbling at the same time. It’s sophisticated, it’s elegant, but it’s also down to earth. That is who I am and this is what I do.”

Recently, the “Furious 7” star spoke with Billboard about his first cohesive album since 2010’s Battle of the Sexes. Simply put, this new material will delve into his journey from struggling MC to present day.

“I can definitely tell you in a nutshell there are a bunch of songs that define moments and are very emotional just for the simple fact that will be my most personal album to date in terms of talking about a lot of things that have gone on in my life and just really diving into who Chris Bridges is as a person,” he said. “So that’s what Ludaversal is all about. It’s ‘Welcome to my world, this is where I live, this is what I go through on a day-to-day basis.'"

Considering that he's gotten married and has a baby on the way, Ludacris definitely has had a lot of inspiration for music.

We can't wait to hear how he's grown lyrically.
