Demi Lovato Doesn't Need Thigh Gap To Be A Beautiful Badass, And Neither Do You

'Train to be a badass.'

Demi Lovato is many things: a singer, an actress and an all-around badass inspiring woman.

The pop star has been outspoken about her struggles in the past, but it seems, at this point in her life, she's comfortable in her skin. After all, it takes a lot of courage to post #NoMakeupMondays selfies.

In her latest Insta picture, Demi shows off her fearlessness yet again by posting this bikini picture, but it's the valuable message that goes along with it that I'm totally on board with.

"Regardless of what society tells you these days... You don't have to have a thigh gap to be beautiful," she captioned the pic. "It is possible to love your body the way it is. #fitness #health #acceptance #selflove"

YES! Thank you Demi for reminding us to love the skin we're in, because as much as we all wish we were blessed like Beyoncé, only Beyoncé is Beyoncé, and that is OK.

And Demi's right -- society does tell us that thigh gap is in, with tutorial videos and exercises. Hello: it's time to close the gap and follow Demi's next piece of advice: "Don't train to be skinny, train to be a #badass."

How about we make that our new obsession? Thank you Demi, and continue inspiring us.
