Taylor Swift Just Glitter-bombed The BRITs With Her 'Blank Space' Performance

She also took home the award for International Female Solo Artist.

You know that thing called glitter-bombing, where activists explode a buttload of glitter all over an opponent of same-sex marriage? Well, Taylor Swift basically just did that to the 2015 Brit Awards, minus the political context, of course.

Taylor performed "Blank Space" at London's O2 arena on Wednesday (Feb. 25) looking like some kind of terrifyingly alluring CEO whose definition of "casual Friday" translates to "no pants." After some flashing lights and slight of hand, she capped off the performance with an explosive downpour of glitter.

It was beautiful to watch, but my heart goes out to whoever has to sweep the stage at the end of the night -- glitter is impossible to clean up! Every time I've worn a face full of glitter for Halloween, I've woken up in, like, March with stray pieces stuck to my face. Glitter is the greatest thing of all the things, but it's a commitment.

Anyway, back to Taylor. The "Style" singer also took home her first-ever Brit award for International Female Solo Artist.

She used her acceptance speech to thank British besties Cara Delevingne, Sam Smith, and one ginger-haired prince in particular: "Honestly, I know I wouldn't be up here if it wasn't for one of my best friends who took me to pubs and taught me to make a good cup of tea and taught me everything I know about the U.K. I just want to say I love you, Ed Sheeran, wherever you are."
