A 'Real World' First: Jason Becomes A Father While Cameras Are Rolling

As the 'Skeletons' installment filmed, the Chicago castie welcomed a beautiful baby girl.

Many "Real World" roommates have gone on to welcome children after their three-month stint on the MTV series came to a close. But a very special milestone occurred on tonight's episode: Jason became a parent during his stay in the Windy Cindy, relishing the unforgettable time with his happy roommates and even excitedly traveling home to meet his daughter.

Before the precious peanut's highly anticipated debut, J expressed that he was "nervous as heck" about imminent fatherhood. And though he has admitted throughout the season that he's no longer with the baby's mama Yolanda -- they're still friendly and plan to co-parent -- Jason couldn't help but reflect on his own childhood and how he wants things to be different with his bundle of joy.

"I know what it feels like to grow up without a father," the North Carolina native, whose father walked out on him and his mother when he was young, said in an interview. "I don't want to repeat the cycle. I want to break it."

And when he learned during the wee hours that his daughter had made it into the world without a hitch, there was no hiding his pure joy -- he awakened his roommates and screamed from the rooftops, "My baby has been born!"

Next up for the new daddy: a special road trip to Raleigh with some of the wolfpack (Bruno and Tony), during which he bonded with the newborn, oooh-ed and ahhh-ed at the kiddo along with Yolanda and experienced some special one-on-one time.

"[You've] got a nose like your papi, chunky cheeks," Jason marveled at his beautiful princess as they enjoyed a tender snuggle on the couch.

The new addition to the "Real World: Skeletons" family certainly solidified the gang's bond during their final weeks in the house, and seeing everyone genuinely thrilled for Jason was wonderful to witness. And now that Jason is finally a doting dad, will it one day help him heal from his non-existent relationship with his father? Be sure to keep watching "Real World: Skeletons" on Tuesdays at 10/9c.
