See Josh Hutcherson, Margot Robbie And Others Debate Whether An Oscar Is Worth An Amputation

How badly do these celebs really want that golden statuette?

With Reporting By Josh Horowitz

The Oscar is the most coveted trophy in all of Tinseltown -- but how badly do actors really want one? This was the question MTV's Josh Horowitz put to Hollywood's best and brightest on the Oscars red carpet Sunday (February 22), with an impromptu thought experiment.

The deal: You can win an Oscar, but you've gotta give up a toe.

Some of the answers weren't surprising at all, i.e. of course Steve Carell would keep his toes, he's such a paragon of maturity and reason.

But others were unexpected: For instance, Chloë Grace Moretz was not just game for the trade, but apparently ready to cut off a toe right now if she could go home with a golden statuette. The Rock, too, was totally down with sacrificing a toe, which is weird mostly because we didn't know he even cared about awards season. Chris Pratt wanted to know if he could trade somebody else's toe for the Oscar.

And Miles Teller said that he wouldn't do it, but only because everybody would know.
