Bye bye, Biggs.
“They’re not focusing on Larry at the moment,” Biggs told the New York Daily News. “Larry will not be in season three. But there’s always a possibility he can come back.”
The 36-year-old “American Pie” alum will instead focus his attention on theater -- he’s starring opposite “Mad Men”'s Elisabeth Moss in “The Heidi Chronicles,” which opens on Broadway this month.
Biggs has played the ex-fiancé of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) since “OITNB” premiered in 2013. However, Larry’s role kind of fell by the wayside in season two, as the show started to focus more on the happenings inside Litchfield Penitentiary. His main plot line centered on his relationship with Piper’s best friend, Polly, which was frankly a little boring compared to Vee’s villainous schemes and Daya’s baby-daddy drama.
The third season of “OITNB” doesn’t have an official premiere date yet, but it is expected to hit Netflix in June.
