Superheroes, Pop Divas Lead 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Nominations: See The Full List
Blow up the blimps and get the slime ready because the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards nominations have been revealed, and it's all about the ladies, the newbies and the superheroes.
A ton of stars -- Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, 5SOS, Meghan Trainor, Chris Pratt, Fifth Harmony -- are competing for their very first orange blimp, and they'll be taking on veteran nominees at the 28th annual awards show, hosted by Nick Jonas.
It's going to be a battle of the pop divas in the Favorite Song of the Year category as Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," fights it out with Katy Perry's "Dark Horse," Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's "Bang Bang," and Meghan Trainor's 2014 hit, "All About That Bass."
Meghan also nabbed a nomination in the Favorite New Artist category, where she takes on 5SOS, her frequent collaborators Fifth Harmony, Echosmith, Iggy and Jessie J.
One Direction are vying for their fifth Kids Choice Award as they take on Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5 and OneRepublic in the favorite music group category.
Both the big- and small screen will be recognized at the awards show, airing Saturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, as superheroes take over the movie categories with "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" each getting five nominations, including Spidey stars Emma Stone (Favorite Movie Actress) and Andrew Garfield (Favorite Male Action Star).
Beginning Friday (Feb. 20), fans can cast their votes across 21 categories, including three new ones (Favorite Talent Competition Show, Favorite Family TV Show and Most Addicting Game), at nick.com/kca or by tweeting #KCA.
