While certain pop stars—see: Kesha—have been all over New York Fashion Week, there's one who has been MIA for years—Taylor Swift. She's been out of the NYFW game for 3.5 years, to be exact. All of that changed last night, though, when Taylor sat front row at Oscar de la Renta.

Last night's show marked the first for the design house since Oscar's death in October—in an Instagram, Taylor noted how lucky she felt to attend the show and be in a room full of people who "will continue to celebrate his legacy for years to come."

Taylor's seatmate at the show? Vogue cover costar (and BFF) Karlie Kloss, who wasn't walking in the show for the first time since she was 16.

In a weird ~full circle~ kind of thang, Taylor sat next to the woman responsible for her most recent Vogue cover at her last NYFW. In 2011, Anna Wintour and Taylor were front row neighbors at Rodarte. I wonder what they talked about, maybe future Vogue shoots?
