The world of CrossFit can seem like some mysterious hardcore exercise cult to anyone who's never tried the intensive routine. But it turns out it's not like that at all, and might even be fun!
Buzzfeed put together the below video of regular people trying out CrossFit for the first time, so if anyone is considering joining the craze, now they'll know what they're in for. (Hint: a lot of pull-ups, box jumps and burpees.) Sit back and relax as you watch these first-timers suffer through a session:
Apparently the community aspect is just as vital to the experience as the actual workouts. The main takeaway for the n00bs was, "No one threw up, so that's great." If vomiting is the baseline scenario, that's kinda scary. But also, they made a joke about not throwing up, so how scary can it be?
