Lady Gaga Will Be Dancing Cheek To Cheek With Neil Patrick Harris Next

Paws up, way up.

Now everything is REALLY awesome. Lady Gaga announced on Thursday (Feb. 12) that she will be in the house at the Feb. 22 Academy Awards. "I'm performing live at the OSCARS this year!" she wrote on Instagram.

Now, we don't know if she's flying solo or doubling up with her duet partner Tony Bennett (OK, we assume it's the second one), but she joins an already impressive roster of performers slated to play the Neil Patrick Harris-hosted 87th edition of the Oscars, including John Legend and Common, Anna Kendrick, Maroon 5, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora and the just-announced super jam featuring Tegan and Sara and the Lonely Island recreating "Everything Is Awesome" from "The Lego Movie."

The rehearsals have already begun! "EPIC rehearsal with @LadyGaga for her special performance on the #Oscars with our fab producers @neilmeron @craigzadan. Just you wait...!" wrote Oscar music director Stephen Oremus.
