While we were already anticipating seeing a lot of Kendall Jenner in the near future because of imminent Fashion Week(s), we can now guarantee we'll be seeing her on newsstands through March—she just landed the cover of Allure's new issue.
The cover, shot by Mario Testino, is approximately 40% hair—transforming Kendall's pin-straight hair into voluminous curls took a lotta work, Allure tells us, so those bad boys deserve their moment in the spotlight.
Inside the magazine, she keeps the curls as she models various bathing suits and poses with another famous (monkey) face—the same capuchin who played Ross' pet, Marcel, on "Friends." The magazine reveals that the monkey played with her hair, which must be the secret to perfectly undone curls—I'd be willing to try it out, if anyone wants to lend me a monkey.
In the interview, Kendall explains that she feels most comfortable in front of a camera, saying, "When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out. It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself."
Allure also talked to Marc Jacobs—who they credit with nudging Kendall "from one world to another"—and he said she's killing it as a model because she's "interesting, charismatic, and most importantly, she looks great in the clothing." Uh, yeah, she really does.
