If you thought the 2015 Grammy Awards were a little underwhelming, at least Kanye West brought a little bit of fun to the show with his antics.
After pretending to interrupt Beck's win for Album of the Year, he went on a rant about Beck not respecting "artistry," since he thought Beyoncé deserved to win instead.
In a new interview with People, Kanye's once-rival, 50 Cent, shared his thoughts on the matter. First of all, Fif doesn't think the Grammys are as important as they once were.
"I'm not sure that people care about those establishments anymore," he said. "My reason for being excited about an award show is my peers being there to acknowledge the award. And if it means that we get to choose ourselves who deserves what awards, then why would I show up for them to tell me?"
He referenced his loss to Evanescence back in 2004 as an example of how the Grammys got it wrong, saying that he should've won Best New Artist for his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
"When's the last time you've seen Evanescence?" he asked, adding, "*Crickets, crickets*.'
With that said, he did disagree with Kanye though.
"[Beck] produced the record, he wrote the record," 50 said. "There's 11 producers on Beyonce's album -- Kanye, being a producer and a writer should see that, but you get jaded."
No love lost though. 50 thinks Kanye would be one of the best options to model his new line of men's underwear. "He'll rant and make sure everyone's thinking about it."
This response is a lot milder than the Queens rapper's reaction to Kanye's infamous Taylor Swift moment at the 2009 VMAs.
