And clearly she's not alone, since Demi got plenty of backup from her Lovatics for making the argument in such an elegant, what-do-you-not-understand-about-this fashion. Including Wilmer, of course.
Demi's tweet came after Emma Watson made a similar push for gender equality in September when she unveiled the "HeForShe" campaign at UN headquarters in New York. "It is time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals," Watson said. "We should stop defining each other by what we are not, and start defining ourselves by who we are."
