Justin Bieber is about to shock the world! At least that's what his longtime manager and friend, Scooter Braun, is saying.
"He’s in such an incredible place right now, and he’s excited to share where he is with the world next year,” Braun said in an interview with Complex. "It will shock some people and make others really happy.”
Biebs is ready to “be the man people want him to be,” Braun added. And he’s ready to show this with “his music” and with a newfound “openness about what he’s learned in the last year.”
That's good news for those wondering how Bieber's relationship with Braun was doing after last year's ultimatum.
"Either we quit and let you try and find a normal life or you realize that this is what this is and we’ve got to keep fighting," Braun said at the time. Well, it looks like Biebs is going to keep fighting.
You hear that? That's the sound of Beliebers jumping for joy.
Besides his dealings with Bieber, Braun is also known for working with Ariana Grande, Carly Rae Jepsen and The Wanted. But as it turns out, he almost could have added Macklemore and Lorde to the roster of artists he’s worked with.
Ultimately, Braun tells the Complex, Macklemore declined signing to a label, opting to go the indie route. And Lorde? Well, she got signed two weeks before Braun even thought about offering her a deal.
Can you imagine a collab between Macklemore, Lorde and Bieber? Hey, just because they aren't all signed to the same label doesn't mean it can't happen.
