Sam Smith's Grammy For Song Of The Year May End Up In His Toilet

Maybe not in, but definitely around.

Sam Smith is glittering in Grammy gold.

The British singer, who left us in a puddle of tears after his performance, has been crowned with the Grammy for Song of the Year for his hit, "Stay With Me," which accompanies his wins for Record of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. That's some serious hardware, and he already has the perfect place to put them.

"In my toilet -- not in the toilet, around the toilet," Sam told MTV News on the red carpet when asked where he wants to put his Grammy awards.

We're sure he's kidding, but we do know that winning these awards means "absolutely everything" to Sam, who never thought he would have found this amount of success when creating his hit album, In The Lonely Hour.

"My dream was to get to this point, but I always thought this was going to come at a later date," Sam said. "To be quite honest, my record...I'm a very ambitious person, but when it came to writing my music all of that kind of went out the window it was more about kind of about healing myself through my music, that's what I did."

Bow down to the king of the Grammys.
