Bruce Jenner has reportedly survived a fatal three-car pileup on a California freeway that left one person dead and eight injured.
According to TMZ, The one-time Olympic Gold Medalist rear-ended a silver car around noon on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, which spun out into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Hummer. The driver of the white car died at the scene, and eight other people were injured.
Jenner was able to walk away from the crash, though photos posted depict Jenner near the wreck of a car with its front completely demolished.
Jenner also reportedly told the police that at the time of the accident, he was being pursued by a group of five paparazzi.
Jenner stated that he was not drinking at the time of the incident, and volunteered for a field sobriety test, which he passed.
The New York Daily News quoted a source from the LAPD, who confirmed that the accident was fatal.
"We have deputies on the scene, working a fatal traffic collision at PCH and Corral Canyon Road," the source explained. "It happened at 12:12 p.m. There were three vehicles involved."
