See Every Outfit Beyonce Has Ever Worn At The Grammys

Yeah, there are over 20.

At this point in her career, Beyonce is a Grammys veteran. She's attended 12 shows and, at most of them, changed up her outfit—sometimes more than once. With her five nominations and just-announced performance, it seems likely we'll be treated to multiple looks from Bey which, TBH, guarantees an exciting Grammys night for us.

In order to adequately prepare for Sunday, we took a look back at all 24 outfits Beyonce has worn at the Grammys—here they are. Her transformation from Destiny's Child to modern day Queen Bey has never been more apparent.

Destiny's Child's first appearance at the Grammys—as a foursome, no less—wasn't nearly as coordinated as we got used to in later years. Beyonce definitely stuck out, though, in head-to-toe sparkles.

2001 was all Miss Tina-designed everything, with DC decked out in totally coordinated looks from red carpet to stage. Things kick off in these neutral toned, lace-paneled dresses.

From there, we go to tiny, sequined shorts and croptops for a performance of "Say My Name" and "Independent Woman."

And, finally, matching green dresses to show off their two wins.

For the group's performance with Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, the ladies wore sheer black gowns, each with just a touch of sparkle.

The 2002 Grammys included one of Bey's ~edgiest~ looks to date, with her dress being approximately 85% sheer.

  • 2004

2004 marked the first time Bey walked the Grammys red carpet solo and, man, what a way to make a debut, eh? Gold on gold on gold.

To perform "Dangerously In Love," B changed from gold to silver (and blue) and wore her hair in a very heavy looking bun.

For her second performance—which included Prince, NBD—Bey changed into a short pink dress and let her hair down.

The following year, Bey dialed back the gold, but kept it in the trim of her sleek black gown.

  • 2006

In 2006, B had an equally slick updo and totally ditched the gold for a strapless, gray-green gown. This dress is so many colors, in a way, that it's kind of no color, you know? One thing I can def describe? How flawless Bey's skin looks—whoa.

  • 2007

2007 was the year Beyonce started wearing multiple outfits again and kicked things off on the red carpet with this short, silk Giorgio Armani dress.

For her performance of "Listen," she wore a heavily-embroidered gown and accessorized with two flowers in her hair.

To show off her win, B changed yet again, this time into a sparkly silver gown with electric pleats. Based on the fabric pooled at her feet, I'm not sure how she walked without tripping, but, it would appear she managed and went on to achieve greatness.

In 2008, she channeled her inner ice skater on the red carpet in a silver and blue tulle gown from Elie Saab.

To introduce Tina Turner, Bey wore a sequined suit—what, suits can have hotpants as the bottoms, OK?—and then changed into...

...a bejeweled minidress, which matched Tina's silver metallic jumpsuit.

  • 2010

In 2010, Bey traveled to the near future for her dress from Stephane Rolland and then came back to attend the Grammys. More important than the dress, though, IMHO, is her hair tinsel.

For her performance of "If I Were A Boy," Beyonce wore a leather dress from Atelier Versace.

To accept her award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, she changed into a short-sleeve, Giorgio Armani Privé dress. IDK how sitting in that thing was, but I would guess not comfortable.

  • 2011

In 2011, a very blonde Bey skipped the red carpet, but wore a sequined blazer with matching shorts and no shirt.

  • 2013

In 2013, Bey wore one of her most ~unexpected~ looks ever—a graphic, monochromatic jumpsuit from Osman Studio. Black + white + red lip = perfect three-color palette.

  • 2014

And, finally, last year. Bey didn't walk the red carpet because she was busy getting ready for her "Drunk In Love" performance with Jay, but she delivered—big time—on stage in a sheer black bodysuit and La Perla collar. "Wet hair, don't care." - Beyonce at the 2014 Grammys, probably.

After her performance, Bey dried her hair and changed into a largely sheer, long-sleeve gown from Michael Costello.

  • 2015

This year, Bey showed off her skivvies in a sheer Proenza Schouler dress. Her hair was long, flowy, and enviably wavy, which, TBH, we should've expected—she is Queen Bey, after all.

For her performance, Beyonce changed into a white gown, which was flanked by a sheer cape. She kept the mermaid hair because, well, if your hair looked like that, you'd keep it too.
