Don't Worry About Tha Carter V -- Lil Wayne Has A Free Album On The Way

Sorry for the continued wait.

Welcome to Free Weezy Season.

Lil Wayne is refusing to let differences with his label, Cash Money, get in between him and giving his fans new music. He already proved that to us once, when last month he dropped Sorry 4 the Wait 2, a mixtape to tide fans over as his Tha Carter V album remains plagued by delays.

Thursday morning (Feb. 5), Tunechi announced that he's moving on from the free mixtape -- to a free album.

For now, those are all the details we have, so plenty of questions remain. When will we get The Free Weezy Album? What will make it different than a mixtape? Given that Sorry 4 the Wait 2 was made up of Wayne taking his turn at other people's beats, it seems like a safe bet that the album will have all original production, but we'll have to wait and see.

This project comes in addition to yet another (rumored) mixtape, Dedication 6, which DJ Drama hinted earlier this week he and Tunechi have in the works.

You can't say the man doesn't work hard.
